How did The Wedding Sitters get started? Vice President, Rita Vitro, had been in child care for over 30 years when she was approached one weekend by friends and family. Her friends needed a babysitter for their children as they attended a wedding. Rita realized after baby-sitting for several more weddings that a child care service exclusively for weddings was long overdue! The idea was researched and proved to be an innovative new service that would offer a major convenience for parents attending a wedding. The parents could have a good time at the wedding. Out of town parents would be able to bring their children on the trip even if the wedding was child free.
